Will tickets be available at the gate on the day? 

Yes, you can buy your ticket on the day including a 10% gate fee. Grandstand reserve seating is strictly limited and we advise pre-purchasing.

How much are tickets? 

The prices for the different ticket types are on the ticketing website here https://events.ticketbooth.com.au/events/30971. Select the ticket type for the pricing information.

What age is considered a child?

A child ticket is for children aged 5 to 15 years.

Can I take my camera?

Of course, we encourage you to take as many photos as possible. However, if you would like to professionally photograph the event, please contact tom@bitecom.com.au for media accreditation. Images are not to be licensed or resold without express permission of the event producer.

Something else came up and I can’t make the show, can I get a refund?

Refunds are only available if the event is cancelled.

What happens if it rains on show day?

It can still run BUT if the event is rained out, then it will be run on the following days. As per the terms and conditions on the ticket, Monday 21st March is a reserve day in which to run any previously cancelled days’ program. Updates on these issues will be posted to the Orange Medieval Faire Facebook page in the case of extreme weather.

Is the event suitable for wheelchairs? 

Yes, it is flat and there will be an accessible area available. Note: many sections of the Showgrounds are grassed so be prepared.

How long does the event last? 

Event times are 9am-5pm on Saturday 19 March 2022, and 9am-5pm on Sunday 20 March 2022.

Can I bring food into the venue? 

Food and drink can only be brought into the venue for medical reasons (food allergy, etc). There will be a variety of food and beverage vendors with vegan, GF, and DF options to purchase.

Can I bring weapons, medieval or otherwise?

No illegal substances or weapons of any nature may be brought into the venue. No gang colours, patches or other items that signify gang membership may be displayed at the Event.

Can I bring my pet?

Unfortunately not. No animals may be brought into the venue other than assistance dogs.

Is the event suitable for children? 

Yes, most definitely. It’s a great day out for families. A child ticket includes access to the jousts and all other faire activities including a kids knight school, kids’ archery range, plays, birds of prey displays and they will be able to witness the firing trebuchet!

Is there a no-alcohol area? 

Alcohol is only permitted in the tavern, VIP area and satellite bar; it is an alcohol-free zone otherwise.

What happens if I forget, lose or have my tickets stolen?

You need to produce ID at the box office and the staff will re-print your tickets with new bar codes. The original tickets will then be invalid. No fee is required.

Will there be parking? Where can I park? 

There will be onsite parking at Orange Showground.

I have a question about camping, who can I contact? 

Please call Colour City Caravan Park adjacent to the Showground on (02) 6393 8980 for all camping enquiries.

Will public transport be available? 

The 532 bus can be caught from the centre of Orange to the showgrounds on both Saturday and Sunday. Download the timetable. The train from Sydney to Dubbo also stops in Orange. Local taxis and Uber will have limited availability.

Is the venue smoke free? 

There will be limited smoking areas available. Smoking and e-cigarettes will not be allowed outside designated areas.

Will there be EFTPOS as the venue? 

Yes there will be an ATM.

Where can I find a program of the day? 

Event Program (Saturday & Sunday)

Gates open at 9am on both days.

There will be medieval activity around Orange Showground throughout the day including trebuchet displays, archery, medieval re-enactments, impromptu performances and medieval music.

Will there be medical facilities onsite? 

Yes, there will be medical facilities.

Can I use my NSW Dine and Discover vouchers at Orange Medieval Faire? 

Unfortunately our ticketing provider is not a participating company so these vouchers cannot be accepted. However, if you are visiting there are many businesses in Orange that do accept Service NSW vouchers.
