Come and watch the ancient art of falconry as Full Flight present their amazing birds swooping and diving to catch their prey. The birds of prey presentation shows you how medieval European nobles hunted using eagles, falcons and owls.
Our merchants offer a fine range of hard to source items. Many are handmade, and all are absolutely unique. Purchase fine perfumed soap, costumes, drinking and eating ware or armour for war. There is a superb range to choose from with many artisans making the items onsite before your very eyes.
Competitors gallop toward each other separated by a barrier called a ‘tilt’, and strike each other from the bottom of the shield to the top of the helmet in order to smash their lances.
The combined speed is about 40 kmh and the result is a bone-rattling collision that is truly spectacular.
The village is an amazing and immersive experience. Wander around at your leisure and see life as it was in medieval Europe, from the dark ages to the renaissance.
